Rolling Pins

the first blog from the new picker

My sister and brother-in-law have a very nice collection of hardwood rolling pins from the early 1900's. They've inspired me to start a collection myself, not of the same vintage but hopefully with the same level of charm: some  birdseye maple, maybe  a bit of hand carving, nicely worn red paint on the handles...items from the 50' and 60's that were obviously well used and well loved.

My concept was to collect a dozen or so, plant them in an old Medalta crock and then sell them as a set..like a bouquet!

Catherine and Robyn feel we should sell them individually... like rolling pins!

I have a lot to learn about retail
